Two-Day Conference in January 2021
With the technology landscape changing rapidly, new online services have been developed with their unique expertise at an increasing rate. Nowadays many services turn to virtual, it comes to an issue for certain users, who are required to proof their identity or to verify the authenticity, that leads to an overwhelming verification related tasks. This kind of challenging authentication management is expected to increase by multiples, as more value-added online services will be offered across the internet around the world.
Hong Kong Public Key Infrastructure Forum Limited (“HKPKIF”) endeavours to enhance public and industry awareness of the importance of public key infrastructure (“PKI”) products and services in addressing the topics of authenticity, integrity, confidentiality and non-repudiation. This year, in response to market changes and needs from online services, HKPKIF would like to showcase the latest digital identity technology called “Distributed Identifier” (DID).
In this regard, HKPKIF will be holding a two-day conference in Hong Kong with PKI members from Hong Kong and experts from United States of America to share and promote the concepts of secured digital PKI infrastructure and its relevance of Distributed Identifier (DID) technology for the implementation of digital identity on 12 and 19 January 2021 in Hong Kong,
We will invite government department representatives, scholars of eKYC and data science, local financial and business leaders as our audience for this insightful sharing. We also welcome technical experts to join our technology sharing and be ready to leverage our business to a digital trusted platform.
