The International Workshop on Interoperability Technologies in Electronic Certification was held in the city of Shenzhen, on May 20, 2014. It was an annual event
of APKIC Interoperability Working Group (IOWG). Aiming to promote communication and cooperation among academia and industry, the workshop provided a forum
for researchers and engineers from certification authorities, financial organizations, cryptographic chip manufacturers and security institutes, to present and discuss
interoperability challenges, opportunities and technologies in electronic certification, trust computing and financial applications, especially under the background
of the Chinese standard SM2/3/4 algorithms. As the secretariat of APKIC, HKPKIF shared the preparation work with IOWG.
