SMARTCITY EXECUTIVE TRAINING (SET) PROGRAMME Knowledge Transfer Programme for Executive in Smart City Development & Management: Technology & Application Perspective

THE PROGRAMME

The SmartCity Executive Training (SET) Programme aims to enrich students with multi-dimensional knowhow in smart city
technologies, management/strategic skills, specific knowledge in smart living, smart environment, smart economy and social context
areas.

PROGRAMME CHARACTERISTICS

This programme embraces an interdisciplinary approach by offering a wide range of practical subjects covering from theories and
specific domain knowledge, emerging technologies, applications and use case of smart cities. It includes the following four main
sub-programs, namely:
  1. Smart Economy: Fintech and re-industrialization, SmartCity technologies, sharing economy, digital entrepreneurship and global innovation
  2. Smart Living: Smart health technology, social services management, ageing policies in GBA, leadership in smart health and social innovation & living smart
  3. Smart People: Smart management techniques, soft skills, innovation and creativity, smart teaching, learning and research methods
  4. Smart Environment: Smart city and social change, smart environment and policy, smart and sustainability cities

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

* Note
i) Smart Economy programme will be offered in July2021 admission. Other sub-programs are in the finalplanning stage
ii) Both On-site and Online mode of study are availablefor students to choose based on their preference
iii) For committee organization members of SCC, HKPKIForum, HKETA and all Lingnanians are entitled to have30% discount
 
Students can enroll independently for each of the above sub-program. Upon successful completion of each sub-program a “Certification of Achievement” with endorsement by Lingnan University and Smart City Academy, HKPKI Forum will be issued for students. If student completed all the 4 sub-programs, an “Executive Certificate of Smart City” will be granted for successful students.
